Product Description

CoffeeGenic™ Green Coffee Extract, 400 mg, 90 vegetarian capsules Item Catalog Number: 01620 People who take extraordinary steps to limit their carbohydrate exposure may still be experiencing higher-than-desired blood sugar throughout the day. The reason? Blood sugar can surge to dangerously high levels following meals that can last for hours and even the entire day! Studies show even in people with normal fasting glucose, gaining control of after-meal surges may provide additional support for cardiovascular and metabolic health. To address this widespread problem, a natural compound is now available called CoffeeGenic™ Green Coffee Extract. This next-generation glucose control compound was shown to induce a remarkable 32% drop in after-meal blood sugar! At the core of CoffeeGenic™ Green Coffee Extract''s power to favorably modulate after-meal glucose levels is chlorogenic acid, a polyphenol found in the green coffee bean. Chlorogenic acid has been shown to inhibit excess activity of glucose-6-phosphatase. The glucose-6-phosphataseenzyme triggers glucose formation from non-carbohydrate substrates and glycogen release from the liver, both of which can create excess glucose in the blood. Neutralizing excess glucose-6-phosphatase is essential for most people to achieve optimal glucose control. Another means by which chlorogenic acid supports healthy after-meal glucose levels is by targeting the alpha-glucosidase enzyme. This intestinal enzyme breaks apart complex sugars and enhances their absorption into the bloodstream. Chlorogenic acid also increases the signal protein for insulin receptors in liver cells. Why green coffee bean extract? Coffee grows on trees and the fruit is a berry. The berry contains green seeds, which are the ''beans.'' The outer part of the berry is washed away to get to the seeds. The seed has a higher amount of phenolic acids (50%) than the berry (about 35%). The problem with the roasted coffee you drink is that much of the bene

5.0 out of 5 stars Workin Good!, April 7, 2012
This review is from: CoffeeGenicTM Green Coffee Extract, 400 mg, 90 vegetarian capsules (Health and Beauty)
I think I my body might be over sensitive to some of the ingredients in these pills but there is no mistaking the effectiveness of the green coffee extract. I took them for almost a month and lost close to 5 pounds which, trust me, is a big accomplishment for me in this time. I have had a hard time losing weight since I had my second child. My goal to start was to loose 40 lbs.

I also started taking Primaforce Max CLA 180 Softgels + Free 25 Grams Raspberry Ketones Powder since they are natural too minus the caffeine and any other additional ingredients that may I be over-sensitive. I had a friend who had taken CLA and Raspberry Ketones before and lost like 20 pounds in a little over a month. I ended up really liking it too because I felt the energy and appetite suppressant effects and didn't get sick at all either, probably... Read more

I'm taking 2 a day, eating a clean diet and watching calories, 7 lbs off in a month! You must watch your diet! Do not think that you can eat too many calories and take a pill to lose weight. It's numbers in, numbers out. I do think green coffee bumped up my metabolism a bit!

3.0 out of 5 stars If you heard about this from Dr. Oz show, April 27, 2012
This review is from: CoffeeGenicTM Green Coffee Extract, 400 mg, 90 vegetarian capsules (Health and Beauty)
My wife asked me to search for this. If you heard about it on the Dr. Oz show, then remember they said to get a product without any fillers like the ones listed on their label. I'm trying to find such a product. Heard good things about the company, however, on this company's website the label for this product says "Other ingredients: microcrystalline cellulose, vegetable cellulose (capsule), vegetable stearate, silica."
You can check it out for yourself. [...]

UPDATE: Several people have commented about the website Purehealth100. My research shows that Purehealth100 is the online store front for a company called "Genesis Today". Dr. Lindsey (the man who appeared on Dr. Oz) is the founder and current owner of Genesis Today, located in Austin, Texas. This company was founded in 2004. You can also see this on his website, drlindsey.com. The website was created in 2000, so this was not a recent thing to ride the wave he created by being on Dr. Oz. Interesting thing... Read more
